At the RICS Awards 2017, we were delighted to be awarded the highly commended prize for our building conservation work at St Cuthbert’s, Kentmere.
Working alongside the PCC of St. Cuthbert’s and architect, Mike Darwell, over a 26 week period, we worked on a full roof refurbishment of the Grade II listed building at St Cuthbert’s. This involved removal and reslating of roof coverings, oak repairs, wall plates renewed, amongst various and extensive further refurbishments which you can read about here.
Only being in our second year of business, we were honoured and humbled to receive such high commendation alongside so many other great conservation projects. There were only a select few which were awarded highly commended, so we feel extremely proud of our achievements, especially in comparison to the scale of projects we were up against.
